Sunshine and colour

We went this morning to the last day of a Cartier Bresson exhibition at Somerset House. It was a combination of black and white photos by Cartier Bresson and colour photographs by later photographers and many of the works brilliantly interwove subtlety with boldness. Afterwards we sat in the warm (oh yes!) sunshine on the terrace looking over the Thames sparkling under the blue sky.

That exhibition looks interesting, it must have been quite a contrast between the black and white images and the others full of colour. I like your picture with the shadows.

That terrace is one of my favourite places by the river and how lucky to find a little bit of sun!

Yes! The sunshine was much wanted and I'm really enjoying the fact that it's back again - makes such a difference!
